NATALIE JEREMIJENKO: CONNECTED ENVIRONMENTS

Natalie produces engineered systems that invite participation, document change over time, and suggest alternative courses of action that are ethical and sustainable.

Natalie Jeremijenko, one of our favorite artists, is opening an exciting show this month at the Neuberger Museum of Art at SUNY Purchase. For our readers on the East Coast this is a show worth checking out. From the Neuberger website:

May 29-October 24, 2010 This exhibition provides an overview of the work of Natalie Jeremijenko, an engineer and artist whose work explores the impact of technology on society and the environment. Natalie produces engineered systems that invite participation, document change over time, and suggest alternative courses of action that are ethical and sustainable. The exhibition will provide examples of the artist’s diverse series of experimental designs created throughout her career and will include new site-specific work.
